Special Disability + Community Services Sector Roundtable on Wednesday 1 October 

There are a number of significant changes underway in your sector, including:

• Portable Long Service Leave commencing 1 October
• The Fair Work Commission proposing significant changes to the SCHADS Award  
• The Royal Commission into Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence recommendations due for release

That's why we're holding a special Disability + Community Services Sector Roundtable on Wednesday 1 October to brief ASU members on these critical reforms in person.

Staff from the Portable Long Service Leave Scheme will be attending this Roundtable to provide training on the new scheme and answer any questions you may have.

The Roundtable will be held on Wednesday 1 October 2025 from 9:15am - 4.30pm at the Monastery - 15 Cross Road, Urrbrae.

If you're an ASU Workplace Rep, you're entitled to access union training leave for events such as this. This is a new legislated right available to Reps in the Disability and Community Services sector.
