After members rejected the previous offer from VicRoads Management in December, they have come back to us with a revised offer with significant improvements, to try to finalise the Agreement.
It does not include everything we wanted, but we acknowledge that this as an attempt to get us to an agreed position.
Full details of the offer can be found
here
One thing is clear – the only reason that VicRoads have again moved their position is because of the actions of Union members.
If we are to accept this offer, we should be able to get this wrapped up and out to a ballot of all staff within a few weeks.
If we are to reject this offer, we will need to ramp up our industrial campaign, with members implementing new bans across the state.
So now it is over to you.
We want to know how you want us to proceed at this key juncture. Please complete the survey here https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/V8QBSLL Please note, in order to ensure the integrity of the survey results, you will need to include your member number. If you do not know your member number, please email [email protected]
Voting closes COB this Friday January 24th.
We will also be holding a members meeting this Thursday evening to discuss this offer and answer any questions you might have.
